Community Resources for the Paradise Coast Trail

Paradise Coast Trail Feasibility Study is COMPLETE!

We are thrilled to announce that the Final Pathway Report and Feasibility Study is now ready for viewing. The extensively detailed report was completed in just 12 months, remarkable for a study of this magnitude. Successfully receiving our $250,000 Legislative Funding Request from the State of Florida, and partnering with Collier County, the City of Naples, and our donors to meet the $100,000 local match requirement easily shaved another five years from the process!

For an easier download of the materials, you can click on the Appendix and the Pathway Report separately.

While the official public comment period has concluded, the PCT Virtual Open House is still available to provide information about the proposed trail. Click this link to visit the virtual meeting room.

What's Next

The Kimley-Horn team is currently working on preliminary design work for signage to be placed on existing and future segments of the Paradise Coast Trail.

Several sections of the trail will be included in future road/drainage/sewer improvement projects or planned new roads in the eastern portion of the county. Naples Pathways Coalition will continue working with Collier County Transportation and the Collier Metropolitan Planning Organization to accelerate projects that will build the Paradise Coast Trail sooner.

Federal and State funding opportunities frequently, if not always, require local matching funds. We are continuing to raise money to keep the pressure on and to assist with meeting local match requirements.
