Projects

*Gordon River Greenway (The NPC is supporting the efforts of the
Southwest Florida Land Preservation Trust to build this multi-use pathway along the Gordon River)

*FP&L Pathway (The NPC is monitoring county plans to build this 4-mile pathway between Davis Boulevard and Radio Road)

*Goodlette-Frank Road Greenway (The NPC is supporting Naples city planners who are proposing a multi-use Greenway along the west side of the roadway. Initial plans are to start on the section of the road being widened. The first greenway section would be from Pine Ridge Road south for a couple miles, but long range plans may complete the greenway first to Golden Gate Parkway, then ultimately to U.S. 41)

*Gordon Drive Bike Lane (The NPC will work to have this dangerous bike lane changed, which currently has cyclists riding against traffic between 15th Avenue South and Galleon Drive)

*Comprehensive Pathways Plan (The NPC is working with the Pathways Advisory Committee to develop the County's overall pathways plan and has been working with the City of Naples to develop our firs Bicycle & Pedestrian Plan)

None of the above projects will happen without our continued presence before local transportation planners and elected officials, and every day another road project is built that doesn't include a bike lane. We want to see that stop, and we're determined to do it. The Naples Pathways Coalition will continue to work on these, and other projects, toward our ultimate goal of an integrated pathway, bike lane, and non-motorized transportation network, throughout Collier County.
